Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and qualifying new business opportunities. Your efforts will help expand Glassboard’s client base and solidify our position as a leading partner in hardware product development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through targeted outreach, networking, and inbound inquiries.
Prospect Outreach: Initiate and maintain conversations with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce Glassboard’s capabilities and value proposition.
Opportunity Qualification: Assess client needs, challenges, and alignment with Glassboard’s services to determine fit and readiness for engagement.
Relationship Building: Develop meaningful connections with potential clients, establishing trust and understanding of their product development goals.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, campaigns, and strategies.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM system.
Market Insights: Gather and share insights on market trends, competitive activity, and potential opportunities to inform business strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within hardware, engineering, or product development sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Understanding of product development processes or a technical background is a plus but not required.
