Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and qualifying new business opportunities. Your efforts will help expand Glassboard’s client base and solidify our position as a leading partner in hardware product development.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through targeted outreach, networking, and inbound inquiries.

  • Prospect Outreach: Initiate and maintain conversations with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce Glassboard’s capabilities and value proposition.

  • Opportunity Qualification: Assess client needs, challenges, and alignment with Glassboard’s services to determine fit and readiness for engagement.

  • Relationship Building: Develop meaningful connections with potential clients, establishing trust and understanding of their product development goals.

  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, campaigns, and strategies.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and pipeline stages in the CRM system.

  • Market Insights: Gather and share insights on market trends, competitive activity, and potential opportunities to inform business strategy.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within hardware, engineering, or product development sectors.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

  • Understanding of product development processes or a technical background is a plus but not required.
